Get to
know us as a doula:

Welcome to the vibrant world of doulas, where every birth journey is a unique adventure! With a sprinkle of magic and a dash of love, we’re here to cheer you on and make sure you’ve got everything you need for the most joyful ride of your life! My name is Erica Curtis, and I have been a doula for 11years. I am a military spouse and have served families in military treatment facilities as well as civilian hospitals since 2014. My love for birth grew and I attended
Midwifery school for 3 years until we had to move and put my schooling on hold. My passion is helping families advocate for their health care in the birth setting, as well as making sure their delivery goes as smooth as possible. I have attended every type of birth you can attend like assisted home births, hospital deliveries, planned c-sections, to medically complex, and babies that are born sleeping deliveries.Im a firm believer that you should have a coach for everything in life. You have a financial advisor, life coach, preacher, basketball coach, football coach, so why wouldn’t you have a birth coach? Someone there to make the transition to parenthood easier, even for the most experienced parents every birth is different. In January 2025 I decided to re-certify with CAPPA Academy as a labor doula so that I could serve Tricare beneficiaries.

About me & my family:

We have 3 children. One of which was born overseas so our family knows the struggles of delivering without family support. I wear many hats and enjoy doing them all. Photography is actually what started my interest in birth when I was hired to photograph a birth at a birth center. I’m a doula when the phone rings and a wife, mother, photographer, entrepreneur, dog mom, and world traveler when I'm not on a call or at a delivery. Im a coffee lover that keeps it on tap at all times (late night deliveries fueled this!). Japan holds a special place in my heart after living there for 7 years collectively.Im a Texan by birth, and many will say they can tell when they hear my voice. Im also a big fan of Mexican food, food is the way to my heart.
